Overview
The Human Systems Lab at the University of Windsor is looking for a post-doctoral fellow with expertise in Human Factors and Cognitive Ergonomics. The fellow will work under the supervision of Dr. Francesco Biondi.
Responsibilities

Contribute to grant capture through obtaining research funds to support future research projects.

Use Human Factors expertise to lead and support projects, data collection and data analysis.
-
Contribute to managing HQP in the lab (e.g., PhD, MS, undergraduate students) in key areas of research including manuscript writing, data analysis etc.

Assist in preparation of study protocols and materials and other essential study functions (e.g., REB protocols).

Author/co-author research manuscripts.

Help with other relevant work as needed.
Qualifications

PhD with specialization in Human Factors or equivalent.

Programming experience in Python and RStudio.

Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methodologies.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Excellent problem solving.
Duration of the employment: 1 year with possible extensions based on funds availability and productivity. Priority will be given to Canadian nationals (citizens and permanent residents). Intended start date: September 2025.

The Human Systems Lab at the University of Windsor is looking for highly motivated candidates for funded Master's and PhD positions in Human Factors with a start date of Fall/Winter . The multidisciplinary research team led by Dr. Francesco Biondi has active projects in the fields of AI, driving automation, and manufacturing.
Qualification requirements

Master’s degree in Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Cognitive Science, Kinesiology or related fields with a minimum 80% GPA in the last 2 years

Excellent English skills (written and oral)

Knowledge of R, Matlab, and Python (preferred)

Main duties and responsibilities

Data collection using physiological measures and driving simulator
