I’m a part-time PhD student and a full-time researcher at a national nonprofit organization focused on advancing employment for persons with disabilities. My academic background is in cognitive science, where I’ve studied visual decision making using eye-tracking metrics—such as fixation number and duration—to assess selective encoding and comparison processes, alongside reaction time and choice behavior to understand deliberation and decision strategies.
Currently, my research interests focus on how assistive technologies can improve accessibility in the workplace and how these technologies interact with cognitive processes. Working within a community-based organization has given me valuable experience in policy development and program implementation, which I leverage to ground theoretical research in real-world application and impact. I’m passionate about bridging human systems research with inclusive design to support more equitable and effective work environments.
